Do you lie to your spouse?

I was watching Oprah yesterday, and a woman was on saying that she told her husband and all her neighbors that she worked all day, then came home and cleaned up her house, but in reality she paid a housekeeper to come in and clean while she was at work.

The lady said she liked having her husband - and her neighbors think that she was perfect.

I just can't imagine that - of course I'd like to think that I was perfect, but I know I'm not.

I know that no one is - so there's no point in pretending.

I would be so mad if I was in the same situation - and then when I got over being mad, I would be so hurt that my husband felt that he had to lie to me in order to make me think he could keep the house clean.

My husband may not be the perfect housekeeper - but I think I'd rather have an imperfect housekeeper than have him lie to me.

Have you ever lied to your spouse or SO about something like that?

Would you?

Leave a comment and tell me about it - how you felt, if they found out, how they reacted.

What happened?
